Probably the best sounding rock guiratist in the world. At least I think so. Anyway those who don't know about dIRE sTRAITS or Mark Knopfler, the latter was the lead vocalist and lead guitarist of the band dIRE sTRAITS. They started somewhere in the 70's and popular hits include "Walk of Life", "Money for Nothing" and "Sultuns of Swing (live) - [320 KB]". Lately Mark Knopfler has gone solo. The background picture is the cover of dIRE sTRAITS best selling record breaking album "Money for Nothing."
